About Us

First CrossFit Gym in Dar Es Salaam

We opened in March 2022 with a simple mission of improving lives of people in our community. We do this by providing structured, coach led, professional and personalised fitness programmes. Our primary offer is CrossFit. We also offer other training programmes, such as as calisthenics. See below for more information.

 

CrossFit is a high-intensity, functional fitness program designed to improve strength, endurance, agility, and overall health through constantly varied, scalable workouts. It combines weightlifting, cardio, gymnastics, and bodyweight movements to build functional strength that supports real-life activities. Each session is coach-led, ensuring proper form, technique, and personalised modifications to suit all fitness levels—from beginners to seasoned athletes. Beyond the workout, CrossFit fosters a supportive and motivating community, empowering members to challenge themselves, track progress, and achieve lasting results both inside and outside the gym.

 CrossFit Class will have a 'Workout of the day' that is personalised workout schedule the coaches have created for you on that day. It's a mix of mobility, strength and metabolic conditioning workouts that will get you fitter by day.

Calisthenics is a form of strength training that uses the resistance of your body and gravity to help strengthen your muscles and improve your coordination, endurance and mobility.

Every Saturday at 8am and 9:30am we have a fun filled circuit class. There are 12 stations with different exercises on each station. With great music, high energy ambiance and a friendly camaraderie, this full body workout will make you feel energised after the class.

Is your focus on getting a flat tummy and getting an appealing shape for your bumsy and thighs. Go no further, we run this class every Monday, Wednesday and Fridays at 8:30am. Come give it a try!

This is our dedicated class for children aged 8-18.  

At DAR CrossFit, our CrossFit for Kids program helps children build strength, coordination, and confidence through fun, age-appropriate exercises like jumping, running, and climbing. Guided by experienced coaches, kids improve their fitness while learning teamwork and the joy of staying active. Safe, engaging, and designed for all fitness levels—CrossFit for Kids empowers the next generation to be strong and healthy!

This is abs buster class, giving you a full core and abs toning experience. Every Tuesday and Thursday we have a core class at 9am. Come experience a fun and high energy class and walk out with great abs.

We offer amenities such as locker rooms, showers, towel service. There's also a smoothie bar outside operated by Cafe Blanc for some delicious pre/post workout smoothies.


Yes, we have a parking available for our members to use.

Not at all! No matter your current fitness level, DAR CrossFit has a program that’s right for you. Every workout is designed to help you succeed, improve your fitness, and move closer to your goals. our programs are scalable for all abilities, making it a perfect fit for anyone who’s ready to commit—whether you’re a beginner or experienced athlete.


If you’re just getting started, we recommend beginning with 2 to 4 classes per week. over time, you can work your way up to 5 classes a week after the first few months. It’s normal for your body to take some time to adjust to the intensity, so be sure to listen to your body and allow yourself enough recovery time between workouts.


We’re a community of like-minded people on the same fitness journey as you. we’re here to support and motivate each other—because when you succeed, we all succeed!
